Channels that publish peer-reviewed publications on a regular basis can be accepted into Level 1. Channels that occasionally publish individual scientific publications will not be accepted into Level 1. Scientific publishing channels may also include non-peer-reviewed publications for both the professionals and the general public. However, it is recommended that the classification channels that are acceptable for Level 1 indicate as clearly as possible which publications are peer reviewed.
