I am a new panelist and trying to do evaluations for the first time. Why don't I see a list of publication channels in evaluation?

When a new user logs in to the JUFO portal for the first time, an automatic notification of the new user will be sent to the Publication Forum Secretariat. If the new user is a panel member, the secretariat must manually grant the panellist´s user rights to the portal. The rights will be updated the next time the panellist logs in to the portal.

I have done evaluations in the portal before but this time I don't see a list of channels in evaluation. Why is that?

If the evaluation deadline is close or has passed, the panel chair may have already confirmed the evaluations. In this case, there are no longer channels in evaluation. You can check if the chair has confirmed the evaluations by searching for one of the channels that was in the evaluation. First select "All" from the "Evaluation Type" menu and then search using the channel name or JufoID. If the channel's "Level" column shows a level rating and the "Deadline" column is empty, the chair has confirmed the ratings.

The Name column in very narrow, how do I get it visible again?

The name field sometimes almost disappears if the browser window is narrowed or you are using the portal on a small screen.

Possible solutions:

1) Reduce the number of visible columns. The arrow next to the TOP10 column opens a menu where you can select the column name by clicking which columns you want to hide.

2) Make the browser window smaller by using the command ctrl + minus (Windows) OR space + command + minus (MacOS). After that, stretch the Name field by grabbing the bidirectional arrow icon between the Name field and S/R field. Make the browser window bigger again by using the command ctrl + plus (Windows) OR space + command + plus (MacOS).

What can I do if I don't see the columns I want to see?

Particularly on a small screen, it may be difficult to see all the information of the publication channels at once. The arrow next to the TOP 10 column opens a menu from which you can select columns you want to hide by clicking the name of the columns. If you want to see the hidden columns again, click on the name of the column in the menu another time.
