- The functionalities and search functions of this tool are fairly limited to compared with competing analysis tools.

- Regarding Google Scholar materials, in particular, it should be noted that the citation numbers are significantly higher than in WoS or Scopus. Non-scientific citations are over-represented in the citations, and separating these from the scientific citations is impossible.
- Google Scholar limits its search results to one thousand references, which is why a PoP search result from Google Scholar materials also provides a maximum of one thousand references with one search. Additionally, Google Scholar limits the use of material if a user performs a high number of searches in a short amount of time.
