The journals must have an ISSN ID, an editor-in-chief and/or editorial board, an evaluation process and a website with comprehensive background information (such as guidelines for authors, author payments, information on open accessibility and copyrights). In the Publication Forum, journals with a “green tick” or DOAJ Seal are marked as indexed.
