Service may also collect and/or disclose information to third parties such as advertisers and business partners. Service provider may also unilaterally change the licensing, terms of usage or privacy settings. For example grading information and evaluation, research plans, development information, personal information (PII), financial information (e.g. business or other IPR) and information containing archiving responsibilities are not suitable for level C services. University's has no ability or legal mandate to manage the stored information in case of any problem situations. Such cases can be for example employers death or service provider's bankruptcy.

NB! Classifications in Cloud Guide pages concern only so-called consumer services, cloud services personally adopted by the user. The services adopted by the University (possibly with a separate agreement) may have different implementation and terms of use.

Google+

Google+ is a social network provided by Google. The service enables creating a profile and joining user managed groups known as Circles. Users can also for example notify about events and invite other users to join. Video calls are also made possible via the Google Hangouts service.

Evaluation

Google has unified the majority of its services (Gmail, Google Drive, Google+, YouTube) under a single Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Google collects vast amounts of information of the users which it uses to tailor advertising to single specific users. The collected information includes device information, log information, location information, unique application numbers, local storage and cookies. With the use of cookies, Google also tracks users on other websites.
Registration asks to input first name, last name, birthday and gender in addition to creating the username and password.

+ The users retains ownership of any intellectual property rights to uploaded content.
+ Notices of changes are posted by at least 14 days in advance.
+ If a service is discontinued, “reasonable advance notice and a chance to get information out of that Service”.

- Google receives a license to use all uploaded content in current and future services. This license continues even if you stop using the service.
- Google collects vast amounts of information of the users.
- Google tracks users on other websites.
- Google can share personal information with the consent of the user. Google can also share or publish aggregated data that does not identify a person.
- Google may stop providing services at any time
