Workshops are two-phased.
PHASE ONE
1. What are the major challenges climate change has in food system(s)?
Discuss, distinguish and list max. 10 major challenges effect on different systems? (e.g. health and nutrition, economy and markets, agriculture, socio-cultural systems, nature)
PHASE TWO
2. How do we tackle these challenges with research? Propose 1-3 research initiatives that dealt with one or several challenges.
Please, concentrate on at following aspects:
1. Title and (short) content of the initiative
2. What challenge(s) we are going to answer?
3. Research structure, participants and partners, funding?
4. Possible societal interaction including companies?
5. Co-operation inside UTU?
6. What type of help do we expect from UTU research services?
7. Other aspects
OUTCOMES
This is an illustrative diagram of the results of our workshop. We are trying to find the multi/interdisciplinary lead areas (the ones overlapping in the diagram) for our U2 Zero Carbon Initiative.
