An electronic exam organised in the EXAM system is taken with an computer in an video-monitored exam room at the university campus. The examiner creates the electronic exam in advance in the university’s EXAM system, and sets an exam period during which the exam must be completed. Once the exam is published, you can book your exam time from the university’s EXAM system. During the exam performance, the university’s electronic exam instructions and code of conduct in the exam facilities must be followed.

Exam process:
- Check that the exam is an electronic exam organised your university’s EXAM system. All of your university’s exams may not be available in the EXAM system.
- Familiarise yourself with your university’s electronic exam instructions and the code of conduct in the exam facilities.
- Log in to your university’s EXAM system, and book an exam time from your chosen exam room. Always remember to cancel or move your exam booking if you can’t make it to the exam.
- Arrive at the exam room at the time your exam booking, and take the exam. During the exam performance, the exam room rules must be followed, but also note any site-specific instructions.
- Remember to check your answers, and possible answer attachments before submitting the exam performance for the examiner to evaluate.
- The examiner evaluates your exam performance. You will automatically receive information about the completion of the evaluation from the EXAM system by email.
- You can check the evaluation information and possible feedback from the EXAM system. The final course grade is automatically or manually recorded in the university’s study information system.
