In EXAM assesment can be evaluated also by questions from the Study attainments by questions view.  Examiners and evaluators have different evaluatin rights forindividual responses based on their roles.  


You can view question-specific assessments on the “Suoritukset kysymyksittäin” (Assessments by Question) tab. The list includes all essay questions in the exam (including those that were removed at some point during the exam lifecycle). The number next to each question indicates how many responses there are for that question. “The number next to the question indicates how many responses there are for that question and how many of them have been evaluated. For example , for the question , there are 4 responses, of which 3 have been evaluated. The green color in front of the question indicates that all questions have already been evaluated.

  • In the view, you can select the questions you want to evaluate. After selecting the questions, click the “Evaluate Selected” button.
  • The status of question evaluation can be Evaluated, Not Evaluated, or Locked.

Question-specific assessment view you can see the answers to the questions you have selected, which are divided into tabs: “Not Evaluated,” “Evaluated,” and “Locked.

  • For questions in the “Arvioimattomat” (Not Evaluated) state, both the Tentaattori and Arvioija can perform evaluations.
  • For questions in the “Arvioidut” (Evaluated) state, the Tentaattori and Arvioija can modify evaluations if no grade has been assigned to the exam. Once a grade is assigned to the exam (status is “Arvioitu”), only the Tentaattori can change the question evaluation.
  • Questions on the “Lukitut” (Locked) tab cannot be modified because the corresponding response belongs to an exam with a locked evaluation status.

As a Tentaattori, you can assign a grade and lock the evaluation of an exam only in the exam-specific view:

  • Mark the exam grade and save the changes, which you can still modify before finalizing the exam evaluation. An exam for which a grade has been assigned but not locked will move to the “Arvioidut tenttivastaukset” (Evaluated Exam Responses) list.
  • When the exam evaluation is complete, lock the evaluation by selecting: “Lukitse arviointi” (Lock Evaluation). (See instructions below)

After evaluating a question (entering points), you can move the question to the “Arvioidut” (Evaluated) state, and the information will also be updated in the overall question flow. When all responses to that question have been evaluated, the question transitions to the “Valmiit” (Completed) state in the question flow.

On the right side of the ‘Kysymysvirta’ (Question Flow) list, you can see the questions currently selected for evaluation, along with their respective statuses. For example, ‘5/7’ indicates that 5 tasks are yet to be evaluated out of a total of 7. From the list, you can choose the questions to view in the evaluation view.

As a Tentaattori, you can assign a grade and lock the evaluation of an exam only in the exam-specific view:

  • Mark the exam grade and save the changes, which you can still modify before finalizing the exam evaluation. An exam for which a grade has been assigned but not locked will move to the “Arvioidut tenttivastaukset” (Evaluated Exam Responses) list.
