In Haka's membership agreement, it is required that the member or partner complies with the Code of Conduct in force at any given time. (https://wiki.refeds.org/display/CODE). Code of Conduct information is published in eduGAIN metadata, if the IdP/SP is connected to eduGAIN. In the Haka resource register, you can find the Code of Conduct settings under the eduGAIN rules.

Code of Conduct v2

Code of Conduct v2 requires Sirtf. The service cannot select the CoCo v2 option if the Sirtfi is not valid. More information: Sirtfi-self-assessment

Code of Conduct v1 has been removed from EduGAIN's recommendations as of January 1, 2026 and only the v2 version is now supported!

EduGAIN-rules for IdP

Services in EduGAIN can be filtered based on CoCo v1 and CoCo v2 attributes. The choices are not mutually exclusive, but both can be selected separately. By choosing, for example, the Coco v1 option, eduGAIN allows services that have CoCo v1 information in the metadata. By selecting both CoCo options, services with CoCo v1 and/or CoCo v2 in their metadata are allowed from eduGAIN.
