This July the EU Court of Justice stated that all datatransfers between EU and American vendors under the Privacy Shield framework are illegal. In practice, it means that using services and products from American vendors is going to be legally challenging as it is no longer compliant with the GDPR. As UK is no longer part of the EU, similar rule will apply also to British vendors.
