Discussion:
- light DMP to get the basic info from every project to get needed information to e.g. IT services or see the need for a data protection processes, a talking point in OU
- linkage between different sections needed (e.g. sensitive data and data publishing licence, cannot choose public license with sensitive data)
- Suomen akatemia asks for a very brief DMP while applying (kinds of data, storage plans etc.), proper DMP later when funding is granted, good practice
- not all information is available at the beginning, the DMP has to be added and modified continuously
- depends a lot on the project how much you know in which points
- DMP is first filled when the project starts after funding has been found in OU
- DMP could be used to communicate needs to other participants and possible support services (also important for consortium projects)
- needs for international projects need to be discussed as well
- how DMPs are used when parts of a PhD is done in different organizations for example
- one common MDP is important to have a shared knowledge about the project through the whole consortium
