CSC - IT Center for Science Ltd.'s (CSC) aim is to guarantee the accessibility of the Eduuni collaboration services in accordance with the Act on the Provision of Digital Services and the EU Accessibility Directive.

This accessibility statement applies to the general user interfaces of the Eduuni collaboration services, which are open to everyone. Most of the content in Eduuni collaboration services is produced collectively by Eduuni's customers and end-users. The site owners and content producers (users) are responsible for the content and accessibility of their sites. The information in this statement is based on self-assessment. 

State of accessibility

Eduuni collaboration services partly fulfils the critical accessibility requirements (WGAC 2.1, A & AA). Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations is mentioned below under Non-accessible content.

Eduuni's goal is to productize the most commonly used collaboration tools of CSC's customers and stakeholders into one easy-to-use and constantly evolving service environmentEduuni collaboration services are used via the Internet with various devices and browsers. The services are provided as independently as possible of the operating system, browser and office software, within the limits allowed by the products used. Eduuni collaboration services are based on a software developed by third-parties, which accessibility is primarily responsibility of the product developers (Atlassian, Microsoft).

The following content and/or functions do not yet meet the accessibility requirements:

  • Text equivalents of images, links and other elements
  • Colors and contrasts
  • Some functions with keyboard commands or a screen reader
  • Images representing text
  • Attachments (e.g. PDF, PowerPoint)
  • Usability with mobile devices
