Microsoft does not claim ownership to any material uploaded on OneDrive. Microsoft does not sell user information to third parties but will give user information on legal matters. They do not promise to inform of this to the user.
The - The ownership of the files remains with the user. However, Microsoft holds the right to monitor files for illegal material.
- The provider will inform if changes are made into the policies.
- It is possible to use two factory authentication and add security information to the account which makes it possible to reset a forgotten password.
The user must take care of backups of his/her files in the service.- The user must sign into OneDrive at least once in a one-year period, otherwise OneDrive will be closed.
