Chair User Group - Tiistai, 1. Marraskuuta
Similar to what we have done in the past, rough outline of agenda follows:
- Welcome and new member introductions
- Update from each User Group (please come prepared to provide group with update).
- Topics we are working towards on product side
- Open Floor (topics or discussions the group wishes to address)
That last bullet item is important. If there are any topics that you wish to discuss with the group, please advise me in advance. This group was formed with the premise that the Chair’s needed a platform to periodically connect, share information and seek guidance from other like Pure communities globally. Davina and I are simply here to assist you in doing so through these periodic meetings with your peers.

- It would be important to have a possibility to create a CV in the format of the Finnish National Board on Research Integrity TENK based on Pure data (https://tenk.fi/en/advice-and-materials/template-researchers-curriculum-vitae)
- Metadata and visibility of activities in the portal should be developed.
- Example 1: In most of the subcategories organisation is not visible, whereas in the membership category only organisation is visible, but not the more specific information (for example Tieteellisten Seurain valtuuskunta / Open Science working group), unless it is mentioned in the description field. For example in the presentations you have to add the name of the organisation in the description field to make it visible.
- Example 2: The location of the event is not shown in the listing unless it is added e.g. in the title. If researcher participates in the same conference multiple times, it would be easier to recognize different events if the location was also shown in the listing.
- A free keyword field would be good to have in the dataset template. Data monitor categories and free Keyword field for dataset template should also be added to Pure API.
